On April 26, 2007, Senior Chief Jim Lyle, Chief of the Boat ("COB"), received a promotion to Master Chief.  There were approximately 35 chiefs in the running and there was only one promotion. 

The Foundation congratulates Master Chief Jim Lyle, COB, on this major accomplishment and we are extremely proud to have him on the Pasadena.  His leadership, dedication and integrity is a great example for all.
